First Manchesters Bolton Depot Open Day.
A few snaps showing the vehicles on show at the Bolton Depot open day on Sunday 06th July ......

First Manchester 33713 : SN12AJU : Alexander Dennis Enviro 400, I don't mind route branding as it adds some colour but its safe to say I'm not a fan of the efforts First Manchester use as its ineffective as not many people would probably notice it! 

33713 is branded for route 36 and route 37.

First's 34104 : T904KLF and 34105 : T905KLF : Volvo Olympian / Northern Counties Palatine with Preserved : VNB177L : Daimler / Northern Counties (as Selnec 7206 ), 37430 : MX58DZC : Volvo B9TL / Wright Eclipse Gemini (in Lancashire United livery) and 69139 : MX06VOP : Volvo B7RLE / Wright Eclipse Urban (in Bolton Corporation livery), 37430 was operating on tours of the depot (in effect the depot wash), nice to see 7206 on depot in the old livery carried for many years although I had this as a Northenden machine when I was a youngster so would have been rare on Bolton depot (if not the works) in the town (although not on this site!), it was inevitable I'd somehow get 69139 in the shot due to my obsession with it!

First Manchester's 34210 : S210LLO : Volvo Olympian / Northern Counties Palatine is the stage managed bus being 'wrecked' as part of a Fire service demonstration (or at least I hope thats what it was!)

First Manchester's 41783 : X783HLR : Dennis Dart SLF / Marshall, 62236 : Y944CSF : Scania L94UB / Wright Axcess, 69157 : MX06VNN : Volvo B7RLE / Wright Eclipse Urban , 69521 : BD11CEN : Volvo B7RLE / Wright Eclipse 2 and 33713 : SN12AJU : Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 all form part of the Buses on display that the public could climb all over!

First Manchester 60663 : T845MAK : Volvo B10BLE / Wright Renown shows off the very eye catching Driver Training livery.

First Manchester 69172 : MV06CZJ : Volvo B7RLE / Wright Eclipse Urban carries the branding for the 'Rivvy Rider'

Holmeswood Coaches (Holmeswood) YN08OBW : Scania / Irizar is seen at the Leyland depot with 'VIP Holmeswood' branding on Sun 06th July 14, its ex  Bowen Group.

John Hunter Coaches (Clackmannan)  YN61EOT : Volvo B9R / Plaxton Panther, this vehicle has been carrying the old Tess Valley livery for sometime but has now progressed to the Polar bear in the snow livery, seen in Blackpool on Mon 07th July 14.

Oakwood Travel (Blackpool) W139EON : Volvo B7TL / ALX400, Seen in Oakwoods compound in Blackpool is the ex London United VA103 on Mon 07th July 14

Oakwood Travel (Blackpool) X512UAT : Dennis Dart SLF / Plaxton Pointer, seen outside the depot on Mon 07th July 14 adding a bit of colour to the local Bus scene following a repaint and some branding for Catch  22 (route 22 branded for Cleveleys to Mereside). I'm sure many would think of Cardiff Bus when seeing this livery!

Rotala Preston Bus 42562 : J112KCW : Leyland Olympian / ECW and 42553 : H103BFR : Leyland Olympian / Northern Counties (with ECW bodied 42560 : J110KCW behind) are sat at Jacksons Coaches Depot on Mon 07th Jul 14. These vehicles now cover local schools work on the Fylde Coast and are based at Jacksons.
